Evan&Marlene || Sparks fly
A scowl was all he received from her, the blues of her eyes narrowed in a playful manner as her right hand swiftly gave his arm a good whack. “My form is perfectly, thank you very much. I can spin circles around you with my form.” Was she really offended? No. But was she going to let him have the last word? No. Quidditch practice has been hard recently but she was sure it was all for the benefit of winning the cup, something that Isaac would push for anyways due to it being his last year. And she was determined to help her team win also. “If there is anyone that needs more practice, it is you. You can’t just stare at me the whole time other- wait, never mind. Go ahead and stare at me the whole time! It will be easier to steal the quaffle away from you.”
“Butterbeer and snogging…Snogging a butterbeer?” Marlene joked, her back leaning against the cold wall of the booth as she tried miserably to tone out the horrible singing wizard. The few seconds that he was gone left her in a moment of silence, well in her head at least, as her fingers danced along the dark wood of the table. It was not long before Evan came back with the wonderful butterbeers and the man finally finished the song, ending it with a very high pitch note that lasted way too long for Marlene’s liking, which left the whole place in an uproar. Whether it was from the happiness people felt that the guy is finally done or from the excitement, Marlene is not sure, all she knows is that her ears was still vibrating. “Oh, no.” Marlene said quickly, the rim of the drink touched her lips as the flavorful drink poured down her throat, leaving her with the taste she love the most. After being quite content with the sip, Marlene placed the cup on the table. Her head leaning peacefully on his shoulder while she glanced at the next person stumbling towards the stage. “I have an idea….Last one to finish their butterbeers have to go on stage and confess a secret while singing.”
“Hmm,” he mused looking into the gold of his beer. “Nah,” he finally looked up at Marlene, “I’d much rather snog you,” he said with sincerity before closing the gap between them, letting his lips land softly against Marlene’s. He allowed one hand to bring her body a little closer to him, deepening the kiss as he did so. He still got a strange fluttery feeling in him every time he kissed marlene, it was new and exciting and only made him want to kiss Marlene for longer. He pulled back when they both needed air, his eyes glazed over. Marlene had a strand of hair draped across her face, Evan quickly swiped it away, his hand lingering at the side of her face. She really was something different.
Evan snorted at her chalenge. “Are you honestly challenging me? I mean do you know who I am?” He grinned before gripping his glass. “Challenge accepted get ready to pour out your secrets to the entire pub.” He knew it was a little unfair, Evan and his friends did this sort of thing on a daily basis. Evan was quite the skilled skuller. Which is why he swiftly placed the glass at his lips and poured the contents into his mouth, swallowing it down in no time. He slammed his now empty glass down, a sound of satisfaction escaping his lips before he glanced up at Lenny.
